Witternberg Reserve Playground, Witternberg Avenue, Frankston
The playground has almost all the elements of a beautifully design - fun play elements, shade, all abilities access, toilets, sports area with a basketball half court with markings for four square and hopscotch and water tap. There are three unshaded tables but no BBQs.
In the middle, under shade sails is an extensive log obstacle traverse course. Beside this is a medium sized pyramid rope climbing frame and a standalone metal slide with ladder, fireman's pole and birds nest swing.
Along the side is a metal mound slide with access via a ramp or big rock steps, two cute bug springers, log see-saw and another wide metal slide with steps and a ramp for access. At the end is a sand pit under shade sails and four swings under shade sails.
There is a nice grassy area beside the playground and a gate leads to Witternberg Reserve.
