Choose from a selection of carefully mapped bushwalks in the Wombat Forest according to your tastes and abilities. Be immersed in lush fern gullies or tall forest, or take in high country mountain views or dramatic river gorges. Long and short, easy or challenging walks are catered for.
Consultation and Using the GPS
During consultation at Breakfast and Beer Cafe Daylesford or your accomodation, we will provide you with an easy to use hand held GPS unit, which will help guide you on your selected walk. Unlike paper maps, the GPS unit will accurately show you where you are and where you should head. You can walk independently and with confidence in even the remotest parts of the forest.

For your comfort, you'll receive a complimentary backpack of walkers' requirements, or choose from a range of gourmet picnics to enjoy on a leisurely romantic afternoon, away from everyday stresses. For younger families, the Lake Daylesford Geocaching game is a fun and healthy activity. Using our GPS units, its like a high tech' treasure hunt.
