Inner Circle Rail Trail Playground, Bennett Street, Fitzroy North
Two fully fenced playground areas next to each other separated by a shelter with BBQ and tables plus an unshaded table. One area has a very large sandpit with sand conveyor and table, spinning cup with hand wheel, see-saw for four people and swings. Parents have left toy trucks in the sandpit for kids to use.
The other fenced area has a train structure with ladders to get into a tunnel, steering wheels, climbing walls, little platform steps leading up to the train engine, carriages separated by a balance beam, monkey rungs, abacus, hanging disks, clock, chain traverse, fireman's pole, walkway, step platform ladder, curved slide and steps. Standalone flying fox and two swings without safety chain with chains so long you could feel zero gravity at the top of the arc.
Basketball court, grassy areas and shaded seats.
