Gasworks Arts Park is a not-for-profit community arts centre set in a large park. It was once the old South Melbourne Gasworks that was decommissioned and became Gasworks Arts Park in 1992.

Gasworks has four acres of park, two theatres, three gallery spaces, a cafe, a children's bookshop, art studios as well as function and workshop spaces. Gasworks has 15 resident visual artists and Gasworks Arts presents an annual program of arts and community events.

It has a very extensive Kids Activity Program including a Kid's Holiday Program. For example:

Gasworks' kids holiday programs offer creative and entertaining experiences for children aged 1 to 14 during the school holidays. Bringing together a range of energetic artists and performers who specialise in working with kids.
