Evelyn Street Playground, Clayton
A beautifully crafted playground set in the wide median strip with some protective fencing. There are two big insect shaped climbing frames with a variety of ladders, climbing walls, slides and fireman poles.
To complement the insect theme there is also an insect springer and a panel where you create a flowering plant. You can play 4-in-a-row or tic-tac-toe (this panel is much better than the old fashioned plastic version), lots of log and rock steppers, birds nest swing, standard swing without a safety chain and an expression swing where the cater and child sit opposite each other.

There are two unshaded tables and grassy areas. This really is such a lovely playground with unusual play items.
