Croydon X Space Playground, James Kerr Way, Croydon
A fun playground which is next to the Croydon Y Space skate park and a very good parkour area sits between the playground and the skate park. There is also a table tennis table.
The main play structure, which is shaded under a roof, is quite low and is best suited to middle aged children. It has some metal slides, rope climbing net area, steering wheel, shop front, gear panel and ladder.
There is also a super cute, metal cow which has teats which can be milked. Bring a bucket if you think your milking skills are good enough to produce some creamy milk.
Outside the shaded area is a small birds nest swing, a great spinning carousel with five bucket seats, medium sized pyramid rope climbing frame, atom shaped metal and rope climbing frames, frame with five swings including one with a harness, lotus leaf spinner with hand wheel, Angry Birds springer, family sized see-saw and some interesting musical instruments.
There are unshaded tables and seats, water tap and toilets. Next to oval. Parking is available along James Kerr Way.
The playground is located in Croydon Park which has an oval, gridiron pitch and pavilion. The reserve is home to Croydon Cricket Club, Croydon Football Club and Croydon Tennis Club.
