Dreadful experience. We drove from Newport in heavy traffic with a 2 year old and a 4 year old who had been looking forward to visiting this play centre all day. We arrived at 5pm, an hour before their advertised closing time only to be told it was closed for a 'private function'. And no, they didn't close just close of a section for the function, they closed down whole venue (which was full of kids) and turned us away. As you can imagine our kids were hysterical as we had been telling them about the fun they were going to have. The advertised site on their website is 6pm - there is NO EXCUSE for turning away children before this time - It was an extremely poor management decision to agree to this at all. I will never be back and I would advise anyone who was going to visit this centre to call first and make sure you wont be turned away at the door. Play Hut management suggested we take the kids to another play centre in the building that had various jumping castles and trampolines - they wanted a $36 entry free so we left the Westgate centre never to return.

Went here during their Free open Week for kids, and Loved it! Highly recommended for Toddlers (under 5s) as the Younger area is filled with the revolving inflated teddy bear that is too awesome not to climb on! There is also a Mini Carousel for the princesses to enjoy! For the older kids, the shooting gallery is pretty fun [like the Docklands Monkey Mania](altho only semi working at the time, and I had to get the Large balls out as only the little soft balls work in the guns). Big area for running around and smashing into each other - FUN! *8v} Airoworld is located in the same centre now, so you can get the best of both worlds! There is also a Rock climbing centre here if you want the kids to have a Trilogy of Fun! (and you're sufficiently cashed up!) *8vD Highly recommended for the Adventurous independent young boys!!

I am a mother of twins and would like to recommend PlayHut at as a fantastic indoor playcentre. Twins entry is always two for the price of one and It is the only playcentre which allows you to bring your own food - a real bonus as most play centre food is vile and expensive! We just had sons birthday there 3 years straight. Its only for children under 6 but they also run sports parties for the older children.

I've taken the kids to every play centre in the inner west.... the playhut is really good don't have to spend a fortune because you can take your own's the only centre around that allows you to do that.... my kids love driving those big plastic cars around...the managers generally keep the play area clean enough....the couches are comfy..the heaters are brilliant during winter... we have spent many hours there over the years. Few significant problems... 1-the toilets are always broken (and dirty) ...someone just call a plumber already! please! Nothing worse than having to take your kids in their socks into a putrid, stinking and broken toilet. 2- i've seen lots of kids get injured by other kids.. Management needs to step up and remind some parents of the rules about supervision. Playhut is like land of the ferals some days. 3- someone needs to deal with the entry/exit situation... it's such a drama. 4- someone please change the music! For the love of god!

Highly recommend this place as my favourite place to play because ur welcome to bring ur own food rule and all the space plus no big kids means no little ones getting a hard time. Had my daughters 2nd birthday there and it was fantastic looking forward to her 3rd birthday there in a couple of weeks. It is well worth checking out Beth
