A wonderful all-abilities playground which is covered by shade sails. As you explore the playground you come across one beautifully crafted feature after another. The playground has a seaside theme with the tall white lighthouse dominating the sky with a spiral and tunnel slide which can be reached by internal steps. On the sides are a climbing wall, chain net ladder and fireman's pole.

At the base of the lighthouse is a fun climbing circuit with log and stump steppers, thick rope traverse, horizontal hanging ladder traverse and monkey bars to climb along. Test yourself on the maze ball where you rotate a maze to move a little metal ball through the maze. Nearby is a huge all-abilities spinning disk which is going to require some serious muscle to move around. Do some gym workouts to prepare.

There are some more games including 'Tumble Ball' and '4 in a Row'. On the side is an exciting game with a playing area with seven interactive play pillars where you press a button on the central pole and select a game to play. One game for example is to compete with a friend to touch the poles which flash either blue or red in sequence. Note that this game turns off at night.

There is a lovely old-fashioned see-saw with a wooden pole and rubber tyre under each end which will bring memories back from school days for parents.

You can get seriously sea-sick in the super fast and rocky Wave Rider speed boat (bring along some sea-sickness tablets). The toddler area in the shape of a boat bow with steering wheels has steps leading up to small slide.

A cute fishing area has some musical fish with fishing rods to catch some tunes and a beautiful wooden jetty runs through the playground with lovely carvings of sea life creatures on poles.

A waterplay area has a hand pump where water flows into a series of water tables with plugs and sluice gates to allow water to flow or backup. Another water pump flows water into an area with sluice gates and channels before arriving at a colourful tiled area.

Look out for the magical flying fish which has all sorts of attached gadgets.

On the edges of the playground are a giant hamster wheel, in-ground trampoline, table tennis table (BYO bats & balls or available at Tour de Cafe and SunnyBoy Beach Club), music area, five sided frame with swings and a frame with three toddler swings which rotate around.

Within the playground area is a shelter with table and BBQ, shelter with one table (2x), unshaded tables and seats and water tap. Toilets and some grassy areas.

The only negatives are the wooden jetty is slippery after rain and paid parking from 8am to 9pm 7 days a week including public holidays (the parking officers aggressively police this area). Pay by calling a 1-300 number or using the EasyPark app.
