Helen Curwood Dance Centre (Travancore)

Helen Curwood Dance Centre is now in its 27th year and offers a very well appointed, clean, spacious and bright dance centre, where one can feel comfortable. There are two studios, each with wall of mirrors, suspended dance floor, barres and large change rooms. A lounge area including coffee and tea facilities completes the friendly atmosphere.

All our classes boast excellent teachers with qualifications and experience to help you achieve your personal goals....
You may simply want to learn to dance for the sheer enjoyment and self-achievement.
You may want to be able to get up from your chair and venture onto the dancefloor without first 'breaking into a nervous sweat'.
You may want to improve your co-ordination, suppleness, tone, fitness level, rhythm and confidence.
You may want to strive to become a professional performer.

Whatever your reason for wanting to dance we have the professionalism, knowledge, patience and experience to make it possible....the rest is up to you! We are enormously proud of our dance centre, teachers and students and invite you to join us.

Our classes are for everyBODY! - 3 year olds through to mature adults.
We offer many different dance styles - each style complete within itself so students can move through levels to advance themselves within their chosen style. We start at Beginner Level with just the basic moves, and if you attend a beginner class that is exactly what it will be ... a beginner class ... and we move right through to intermediate and advanced levels.

All our classes help students to develop co-ordination, rhythm, strength and fitness through correct training methods. But above all we offer a place for students to come and enjoy themselves whilst becoming better dancers.
