Learn to Swim Victoria (Heidelberg)

Our program is recognised as one of the best of its kind and leads the industry in teaching methodology and customer care.

We offer classes for Infants through to the advanced swimmer. Our swim school program has been designed to allow for continuous improvement at age and ability-appropriate levels in small classes, with our highly qualified AUSTSWIM instructors.

Programs include:
Baby Water Awareness Classes (3 months to 2-1/2 years)
Children are introduced to water through fun games and activities with the parent joining in to offer guidance and reassurance. Classes familiarise children with the water in a positive and relaxed atmosphere whilst teaching basic swimming skills. Our Short Course is a great way to try before you commit for the full term.

Pre-School Classes (kinder age 2 & 1/2 to 5 years)
Learn to Swim Victoria has the most successful Pre-school aquatic program in Victoria. Our small class ratios ensure continuous improvement as your child learns the skills of submersion, flotation and locomotion. Our classes help children develop water confidence and introduce, develop and succeed with the fundamentals of swimming strokes.

School Age Classes (Age 5 years upwards)
Our school-aged programs are aimed at swimmers attending primary school and above, to develop the skills of the four swimming strokes - freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly, first in their basic form, and later using more advanced stroke mechanics and techniques as part of our Stroke Classes. We recognise that swimmers learn to swim by swimming and not by standing around waiting their turn in overcrowded classes, and our classes are taught in a fun and interactive manner.

Stroke Classes, Squads
We offer further development of your child's new acquired swimming skills with Stroke development Classes i.e. Nippers Squad and Competitive Squad training through Ivanhoe Neons Swim Club. All levels develop competition skills, fitness concepts, stroke technique and a provide a structured program.

Holiday Swimming
This is a great way to introduce new swimmers to structured swim lessons. Our intensive swimming program is offered every school holidays in one week blocks. The program operates with the same levels and ratios as our term program.
