Rose Street Playground, Hawthorn East
I thought fluoro colours had gone out of fashion - obviously not in Hawthorn East. There is a structure in fluoro orange and green with wave slide, spiral slide, two climbing walls, shop front, steps, steering wheel, tic-tac-toe, walkway, rope bridge, monkey bars, thick rope traverse, flying fox and rope climbing net.
Also a birds nest swing, kangaroo springer, clanger to hit against pipes, super cute table and three seats on a spinning disk, swings and springer with four horse seats (the horses went up and down in the same place - much like the horse I backed in the Melbourne Cup! ).
Shaded seats, shaded table, water tap and small grassy area. There is an oval across the road and it is near a skatepark. There are some shady trees. The playground has been upgraded.
