All classes are held in Healthways' 0.9-1.2m deep, 18m long, heated indoor pool and are supervised by Austswim qualified instructors. All classes (except squad classes) are half an hour long and our small class sizes allow more individual attention to your child.

Aqua Bubs - Ducklings (Age: 6mths - 12mths) and Aqua Tots - Seal Pups (Age: 1yr - 3yrs)
These programs aim to familiarise children with the water, encourage water confidence and introduce independent skills. Parents assist their children in water activities, and progress together through four skill levels. Nursery Rhymes and a large variety of toys are used to engage the children and assist their mental and physical development.

3yrs - 5yrs Swim Lessons
Pre School Program
This program develops greater water confidence and teaches children water skills in four stages - beginner, confident, intermediate and advanced. Beginner classes introduce students to the water, while progression through the program results in advanced classes developing basic stroke technique. Depending on their age and skill level, children are engaged using equipment and/or toys. Most importantly, for every child we aim to make the water an enjoyable experience so they can't wait to get to the pool for their lesson every week.

School age Swim Lessons
Swim & Survive Program
The Swim & Survive program is supported by the Royal Life Saving Society and all Australian states & territories. As the children progress from level 1 to level 4 they are taught attainable and challenging skills aimed at broadening their water independence, swimming experience, and stroke technique. Our classes develop skills in six main areas - entries & exits, underwater skills, stroke technique on front, stroke technique on back, survival skills, and endurance. During swim lessons the pool is entirely closed off to the public so teachers have the children's full attention.

Squad Swim Lessons
Level 5 Squad
This program provides students with an introduction to squad environment, while not being intimidating for those children who don't wish to pursue competitive swimming. It focuses on improving stroke technique and developing endurance and speed. Development squad also encourages social interaction between students.

Level 6 & 7 Squads
These programs focus on advanced stroke and survival skill development. Additionally, the students general health and fitness levels are constantly challenged. These programs provide a fun recreational environment for students who enjoy swimming, but do not want to pursue competitive training. Students over 12 years old can also participate in our Teen Gym program

Private Swim Lessons
Private classes provide adults or children with personal tuition. Whether you're just starting out or you want extra help with your skills, private lessons give you all the attention you need. Lessons can be arranged one-to-one, or up to one(teacher)-to-four(students).
