Geelong Aquatic Centre




Geelong Aquatic Centre is a privately owned, salt chlorinated learn to swim school situated in Newtown, Geelong. At Geelong Aquatic Centre we have a number of services that cater for you swimming needs.

Programs include:
Baby & Me
A skill based program for infant and toddlers aged 5 months to 3 years. Children and parents are introduced to water using toys, songs and activities that enhance the learning of basic water skills. Using the "play" approach makes learning fun for both child and parent. Held every morning, Monday to Saturday, lessons are of 30 minutes duration.

Pre School Program
A specially designed program for children aged 3 to 5 years, run each weekday and Saturday morning. In small groups, the children build confidence and learn safety and swimming skills through fun and games in a structured, progressive program. Emphasis is on the development of a streamlined body position as the basis to all stroke technique. Lessons are of 30 minutes duration.

After School Program
A comprehensive program of lessons for all ages and abilities. Classes for beginners to Level 7 are held on weekday evenings and on Saturday mornings.

GAC Sharks
The GAC Sharks are the most rapidly growig swimming club in the Geelong area. With an emphasis on fun, learning, personal attention and achieving personal goals we aim to cater for a wide variety of people who wish to develop their swimming capability. With excellent facilites and a team of highly experienced coaches, you will be assured of enjoying the positive and fun culture of the club.
