Clarke Reserve Playground, Clarke Street, Elwood
This playground has been updated recently so that it now has a combination of old and new equipment. The main structure has a number of linked platforms with fast tunnel slide, variety of ladders, flying fox, balance beam, high monkey bars, steps and chain traverse. A smaller structure for young kids has a small slide, shop front, abacus, climbing mat and steps. There is also a see-saw, four swings, two person pommel bounce and modern climbing frame with banana-shaped slide. There is an exercise station for parents (push-ups & sit-ups).
The park has a number of seats with some shade and a water tap. The older equipment has a rundown feel and a new coat of paint wouldn't go far astray.
