Harleston Park, Allison Road, Elsternwick

Another great, colourful, Glen Eira council park. Nicely landscaped with plenty of trees and lots of shaded seats and tables. The main structure is composed of a number of ramps and walkways with spiral slide, wave slide, small straight slide, various ladders, steps, ship front, abacuses, tic-tac-toe, inclined climber, monkey bars, flying fox, balance beam, alphabet panel, tunnel, little scrambling wall and climbing mat. Also see-saw, four swings and the highlight - a structure at the top of a hill with a huge slide to the bottom of the hill.

There is a lovely water feature (unfortunately sans water), rotunda with tables and BBQs, water tap and toilets. There is also a giant chess board (which I didn't manage to stumble across) and bocce court. No ball games are allowed in the park.
