Whyte Street Reserve Playground, Whyte Street, Brighton

Whyte Street Reserve Playground, Whyte Street, Brighton

Fairly basic structure with chunky pole style. Chunky jumpers have gone out of fashion and now it is surely time for chunky playgrounds to suffer a similar fate. The structure which is not totally connected together (unless you are a lemur or a sugar glider) has two slides, inclined climber, chain ladder, fireman's pole, flying fox and four swings. To get to the top of the slide takes some climbing skill (or else cheat and climb up the slide). Also nice motorbike springer and wooden balance beam (or else someone left a plank of wood lying on the ground).

Table. Seat with shade. Some shade is offered by the trees ringing the play area. Drinking fountain and toilets. Next to oval.
