Ascot Vale Leisure Centre (Ascot Vale)
The Aquatics Area includes an indoor 25 metre Lap and Recreation Pool, Toddlers Pool, Water Play Area, Hydrotherapy (warm water) pool, Aquatic Education Learn-to-Swim Pool, Spa, two Saunas and Steam Room.
The centre offers a wide range of Aquatic Programs, including Aqua Aerobics, Pryme Mover classes and the AquaSafe Aquatic Education classes.
Aquatic Education
Fences, lifeguards and floaties will never be a substitute for parental supervision and a comprehensive Aquatic Education program. Our qualified and friendly Aquatic Education Teachers will show your children the safest way to enjoy all water activities. The YMCA AquaSafe Plus program provides opportunities for participants to gain swimming and water safety skills through three components:
- Water safety
- Stroke development
- Personal development
Birthday Parties
Birthday Parties have never been so much fun! Treat your child to a birthday party at the Ascot Vale Leisure Centre. This is a great opportunity for you to sit back, relax and let someone else organise the party, run the games, worry about the catering and handle the cleaning-up! Activities include a range of exciting water games, races and lots of fun on our giant pool inflatable.
There are two pool party options:
- Standard Party includes aquatic games, inflatable fun, party invitations, birthday gift, party favours, plates, cups and napkins and self service coffee and tea for parents.
- Catered Party includes party pies, sausage rolls, chicken nuggets, fish fingers and cordial. Please note that the cafe` closes at 12pm.
