Hello, i never had the pleasure of taking my kids to this farm. What is required to get it active again. i am happy to assist in possible fund raising activities - stalls etc at local markets- i often take my kids down to Bundoora farm which is predominantly run by enthusiastic volunteers- i would love to assist in getting this farm up and running again- happy to be contacted. ADMIN - This is under the control of Parks Victoria.

Hi All, about the Horseshoe bend farm is that
I'm also passionate about the great family farm
That was once an attraction to all ages. I've would
like to know if anybody is willing to help me get this
Farm active again. Yes it will take a money and time
But it can be done. Look at the other inner
Melbourne farms that have been going for years and are successfully still going. It's because the communities
cares and it has volunteers who make it
successful by running market stalls, selling
fresh produce products, donations.
If anybody is interested in arrange a small meeting
could they please respond back and I will respond
Parks Victoria Are saying this: read below, tryingHorses

Is the farm now open again? Is it suitable for toddlers? Admin - Unfortunately it is still closed and the prospects of it opening again look pretty bleak.

Hello, is there updated information on HB farm being reopened to visitors yet?
Admin - no, latest information is that Parks Victoria is still assessing its options for the future management of Horseshoe Bend Farm to ensure that the area can be safely opened to the public.

I took my own children here and now have 6 grandchildren I would love to take there. Visited it but it looked desolate and could only find shut gates. Very disappointed as in our area there is minimal farm activity for chn. I also found the kiosk at Brimbank Park requiring a great deal of improvement. What is happening in Keilor?

Following a decision by the operator of Horseshoe Bend Farm to close, the farm is unfortunately not open to visitors.
Parks Victoria will look for a new operator to run the site. This will be by expressions of interest.
Please contact Parks Victoria on 13 1963 for more details.
