Joyce Park Playground, Tyrone Street, Ormond
Very colourful playground set under four shade sails. The main structure is composed of a series of ramps with hanging disks, mirrors, climbing mat, slides, block steps, spiral ladder, abacus, shop fronts, climbing wall, disks on vertical poles and various panels. There is also a pyramid shaped rope climbing frame connected to a slide, three swings (one with harness) and stand-on spinner. All this is set on lovely soft rubber.
There is a shelter with tables, BBQs, water tap, toilets and unshaded seats.
Update: New active recreation opportunities have been added. The new play space features a hit up wall, basketball and soccer goals, a netball goal, table tennis table and socialising areas.
Access for Dogs:
- The playground area and western end of the Tyrone Street entrance is on-leash.
- The eastern side of the Tyrone Street entrance is off leash.
