National Wool Museum (Geelong)

National Wool Museum (Geelong)

The National Wool Museum showcases the Australian wool story - from the sheep's back to the clothes rack, and from the birth of the industry in the 1840s to its place in the world today.

The Museum is designed for self-guiding and our friendly volunteers are on hand throughout the Museum to answer your questions. We suggest a minimum of 90 minutes to tour the Museum. Allow extra time for shopping and refreshments.

In addition to telling the wool story, the Museum hosts a busy annual program of touring and temporary exhibitions with wide-ranging appeal. From the very young to the very experienced, our exhibitions offer something for everyone in the family, and there's always something different to see.
