Update: The centre is undergoing redevelopment until late 2025.

A 25 metre pool featuring 8 lanes

Three full-sized multipurpose courts
Health and wellness areas
Three large flexible spaces suitable for a range of classes and community uses
Accessible change rooms including an adult accessible change facility
A new cafe.

Facilities:
The Centre features a 25m swimming pool, a children's learning pool, and a toddler's play pool with water features, all located in a fantastic indoor setting.

The Kensington Community Recreation Centre has playground and picnic facilities available for public use. These facilities are freely available for use during our normal opening hours.

Birthday Parties::
Make your child's next birthday one to remember and celebrate the day at Kensington Community Recreation Centre.

Our birthday parties are held in two one-hour blocks and include a range of activities and games. The first hour involves activities and games in either the hall or the pool and are supervised by our qualified instructors. The second hour features the party food, presents and birthday cake.

Sports Birthday party (depending of availability) - For children who like to play sports in a safe and organised environment. Sporting birthdays include the following activities: soccer, football, cricket, netball, and mixed novelty games.

Aquatic Birthday Party - The perfect pool party! Fun games and activities are offered, and a qualified instructor leads all sessions to ensure a safe and creative day.

- Party pies, sausage rolls, potato chips, fairy bread, lollies and cordial
