Tumbles Playhouse (Williamstown)

Tumbles Playhouse (Williamstown)

Tumbles Playhouse giant three story play structure is made up of tunnels, slides, Burmese bridge, a ball pit and a flying fox! We also have a super fast double Astro slide (so you can race your friend!), and two big inflatables - our jumping castle and a giant slide.

A smaller play structure, ride-on's, ball pit, baby toys and a jumping castle keeps the fun coming for the under 3's in a zone just for them.

Review:

The Play Centre is laid out in the shape of an L. After entering there is a food service area and tables. At the far end is a toddler area (for under 3), netted area for a cramped game of indoor soccer, huge air filled cylindrical shape (older kids had great fun climbing up the ribbed walls and jumping down sending all the other kids sprawling), a very nice air slide which is high and steep, main structure and party rooms at the back.

There are machines which have rubbish little prizes in a plastic container near the entrance but little else which requires parents to fork out extra money. Customer service is good and efforts were made to clear tables regularly.

The toddler area is separated off by a low wall and has a jumping castle, soft ramp with step, leading to a helicopter cockpit, bridge and slide. Under the structure is a ball pit and a rollercoaster track for a little car. There is an area of padded mats for playing with other toys. There are even buckets which the kids like to use to transport the balls back to the ball pit (a great idea to provide the kids a mechanism of cleaning up the Centre). There is an area with a table for reading books.

The main structure which has two levels above the ground, has one spiral slide which is two levels high, a lot of horizontal pipes which exit into helicopter cockpits, few small tunnel slides, enclosed area with big balls, distorting mirror, various obstacles, little Burmese bridge and flying fox.

There is table soccer and air hockey games (broken). Toilets were bright, modern and clean. Party rooms are bright and colourful. The Centre has a nice bright, cheery feel and the entrance price is reasonable.

Note: The Play Centre is under new management since this review.
