Review:

Initially I thought that this Play Centre might be a one trick pony - there is a brilliant very high, steep, fast, three-lane wave slide which had the kids coming back for more, and more, and ... However, it manages to avoid that tag because the wave slide is attached to a smallish structure which punches well above its weight with a spiral slide, cockpits, hanging obstacles, inclined net bridge, Burmese bridge and lots of levels. There is a jumping castle and big enclosed area for kicking and throwing balls (softer balls to kick without shoes would reduce the number of yelps emanating from this area).

The toddler area is very large and has a jumping castle, netted structure with steps and slides, ball pit, various toys and big soft shapes. If the toddler area was fully covered in mattresses or carpets then that would be a bit nicer than the hard, cold floors.

On one side was an area with two large low round wooden tables and decorated walls. There was also a jumping castle (deflated when we were there) for younger kids on one side.

The whole central area has small tables which can be joined together or split as required. In the centre of these tables are four couches and two big wooden tables.

There are a number of party areas with different themes such as Ben 10 and Superman. There was also a large enclosed room with a Bratz theme.

The Play Centre seems to have lots of extra functions such as Gymbaroo, Playgroups and Big Top Photography. Depending on the circumstance these could be either a pro or a pain. There were a few extra rides requiring payment such as the Batmobile.

It is easy for parents and kids to play together. Thanks to this Play Centre our family has a new family catch cry "Supervision is not just a GLANCE".

The Play Centre closes at 4 pm every day including weekends which is not very customer friendly. Service for me was a bit sloppy - coffee without sugar or spoon (yucky plastic).

Toilets were clean enough (if you don't look under the wash basin then you'll be OK and survive the experience) but we couldn't find a way of drying our hands (no paper towels or hand dryer) and had to resort to the tried and tested wiping them on our pants. Providing a little foot step was a nice addition for little kids who have trouble reaching that high.
