Don't' forget to try our NEW bright & colourful Wacky Wall & other interactive games!
The older children have access to many different activities to keep them entertained while staying active. Including: 5 metre High Air Slide, 6 metre High 3 Lane Race Slide, Jumping Castle, Ball Pits, 4 metre High Climbing Activity Wall. Don't forget to try the 6 metre high Suspension Bridge hovering over our NEW 6 metre high VERTICAL drop slide! (You must be at least 6 years old to use the vertical drop!)
There are two Kids Space locations in Melbourne, one here in Cheltenham and another in Hallam. The centre in Hallam is great and this one is also very good. There is plenty of action for the older kids with a huge three lane wave slide, large air slide, 6m vertical drop slide (open at periodic intervals) and some large tunnels slides interspersed. The red tunnel slide parallel with the back wall is a real kicker with two humps and left us with some scraped elbows! Add a high walkway and there is plenty of excitement available.
There is a separate fenced area with child proof gate for toddlers (1-4 years). This area has lots of fun, entertaining, educational and colourful equipment including a bouncy castle, soft steps leading up to a helicopter cabin, cubbies, fun panels with puzzles and games, tic-tac-toe, abacus and the requisite ball pit.
There is even a special area for 18 months and under. In addition to the normal equipment there is a carousel with two horses and sled ($2 per ride), Blinky Bill ride ($2), sloping cargo net, pinball machine, beginner ski-lift, jumping castle for older kids, Daytona car driving machines and other electronic games.
There are plenty of high chairs and a central location for parents to sit - although anyone who thinks they can keep track of their kids in the tangle of equipment is mistaken or has had eye transplants from a fly. The party rooms partly cover two of the side walls.
Even though the temperature outside was only 23 degrees it was quite hot inside and was hotter the higher up you went, although it seems that a cooling system might have been on the blink. The food was good but the tables were slow to be cleared. The toilet floor was also quite wet for some reason - we were warned to bring socks but not flippers!
