Quite spacious but dingy feel because there is very little lighting, especially around the main play structure area. Even the toilet only had two functional down-lights and the rest were disconnected.

The Play Centre comprises a central area with a lot of tables (with good views around the Centre), main structure and enclosed soccer area at the far end, a jumping island with four coconut trees in the corners, fenced toddler area (ages 1-4) on one side and an area for young children.

There are three party rooms which are all decked out externally as beach huts but inside one has a Disco theme and another has a footy theme. Great if you like beach discos I guess.

The nicest area is for the young kids with an arc of comfy single and double couches next to a ball pit and mats with some play equipment.

The toddler area which is fenced is covered with mats and has a small ball pit and a lot of soft, stuffed shapes.

The main structure is two levels high with a triple wave slide which is one level high, various tunnels, bridges and obstacles, smallish trampoline and very dark ball pit. The enclosed area with soccer nets and basketball hoops would be more enjoyable if more balls were provided.

The limited opening hours, slow service, gloomy environment, lack of really exciting play equipment and no Eftpos/credit card facilities mean this is one of our least favourite Play Centres. The Centre was up for sale when we visited - maybe a wise move.

In my opinion this play centre offered all the needs for my grandchildren & myself. The staff were very friendly & helpful. All payment facility's were available to me. I would recommend this play centre highly. Plus we all enjoyed our food.

It has got a large inflatable island with collapsible palm trees which is a hit with the kids. However, the owner is not keen for the kids to play and explore on it or the slides - concerned about damage, safety, etc.; doesn't seem to know what play for children is. Go play in a park!

Had my son's party here recently. They pack the parties in but fail to provide the service that you are paying for. When you book a party you receive a party schedule telling you exactly when the food will be served, cake will be cut etc. They couldn't even keep to their own schedule. The kids food was cold. This is no exaggeration. If you have a drink tab for the parents, you can expect to wait 25 minutes for their drink to arrive, no exaggeration here. They will book four parties for the same time but not provide sufficient staff. I suggest you look elsewhere for your child's party to avoid disappointment. I am really disappointed I had my child's party here and will never go back. Some of the other play centres in the area are run much better.

We went there today late afternoon party. The centre and staff are great. The baby section is very very dirty you really need to either throw some of those toys away or just simply clean them with sugar soap. The baby section was so messy toys every where after each party things should be tidied up! But I seriously love the place!

What a rip off to charge adults u go to any other play centre and adults r free that is so wrong and customers r always right. This will be the first and last time I will be coming here and will be telling my friends not to be coming

Really happy with this venue. I love that the seating area is in the middle of the play area and that I feel safe and secure to let my wild 3yo run around. The staff are absolutley great and I find that the toilets are always clean. Even at busy times. I had my 3yo's birthday there in March and it was awesome. All of the mothers commented on how great it was. I'm going again tomorrow and would have no hesitation in booking another party there.

Loved it! Warm inside, great space for little ones, found the service good. Best indoor play centre I have visited.

Love the PlayShak- It always is clean (compared to most of the other places in the area) and the kids have a ball! These pics are VERY outdated now!

Lots for the children to do, but I found the baby section the toys were soooo dirty, I'm sure they don't ever get cleaned. I wouldn't bring my kids back here.

I suggest this review be updated. NONE of those negative comments currently apply. They DO have eftpos facilities, there is nothing wrong with the toilet lighting, the service is fine, and there is a bank of windows along one side that open to an outdoor area (a feature that no other playcentre in the area has). It is also cheaper than the next closest playcentre plus you get a free coffee. They have play areas for three different age groups and you can borrow bouncers and walkers from behind the counter for the babies. The even have a good selection of gluten free food available. My 3 year old loves this play centre. I would definitely recommend it. Oh, and did I mention the South Melbourne dim sims?

We visit this play centre almost weekly in the winter and my 2yr old loves it, yes the service is a bit slow and the food could be better but you're not paying for restaurant quality meals or service!! You get what you pay for! The cleanliness of the centre is ok (for a play centre) but does feel quite dirty on the busy days, particularly by the afternoon.

I found it very clean, super friendly staff, great food and so much for my nearly 2 year old daughter to do-- on her own! Huge play area with many varying activities. Much much better than the main review suggests. I was a little wary of the cost before going, but VERY much worth the extra $2.50 for the greatness of the facility. (And the $3 for adults includes a free drink, that you'd get anyway so even cheaper in the end! you can also get your adult $3 worth by going down the slide if tou wish-- I did! :)) Our new fave spot and we'll be going back for sure.

I agree with the main review. I would also like to add that it could be cleaned more often, especially top parts of the climbing structure and someone should have a hard look at the food they offer children. If someone orders chips, please give people choice to add their own salt. I ordered chips twice on 2 different occasions and both times they were uneatable due to the amount of salt. Also this centre uses cheap Coles milk and if you bring your own milk (pay for coffee), you will be lucky if they don't tell you off. Play equipment for kids is ok (what do they care if it's dirty or not, however even my 3yo couldn't eat those chips - and we know kids love salt).

This for us is the best in the area. Our 2 year old loves it. Much nicer than the review above suggests. Great on a really hot day and great for rainy days.
