Allnutt Park Playground, Wheatley Road, McKinnon
Very nice playground. Main structure is under shade sails and is composed of a series of low ramps with walkways, slides, ladders and steps. Another small structure has a curved walkway from an embankment, slanted climbing mat and slide. A third structure has a wave slide, walkway, rope climbing net and disks on a vertical pipe. Also has a good-size fire truck, three springers including a train and large Bertie the Beatle, large multi-faceted climbing frame for older kids, unusual swing which you can sit or lay on and four normal swings.
Seats with shade. Rotundas with tables, BBQs, rubbish bins, water tap and toilets. Good size basketball / netball court and golf birdie cage nearby.
Access for Dogs:
The northern end of Allnutt Park is off-leash, while the southern end is on-leash (including the playground and barbecue area, as well the entrance from Beech Street).
