Wilson Reserve Playground, The Boulevard, Ivanhoe
Lovely tranquil bush setting near the Yarra River. Open from dawn to dusk. Highlight is an extremely curved long metal slide which starts halfway up the hill. Not wishing to put ideas into the fertile minds of children, but some kids were riding down the slide together on a blanket. Make sure you have both a very tough blanket and very tough behind if intending to do this! Also has more traditional equipment such as wave slide, large climbing frame, monkey bars, springers and swings.
Table and seats in shade. The playground is fairly well shaded overall, especially the slide area. Water tap.
