St James Park Playground, Wood Street, Hawthorn
A long stretched play structure with curved slide, wave slide, climbing wall, inclined disk stepping bridge, monkey bars, net wall and a net tunnel ladder. Also a little see-saw, zig zag balance beam on springs, stand on spinner, swings, bird's nest swing and cute buggy on swings. The playground has been upgraded. Unshaded tables and seats plus a water tap. There are grassy gardens to enjoy. There is a line of lovely trees along the side, a war monument close-by and lovely period style lights. Reminds me of an English park - without Mary Poppins of course!
