Wellesley Road Playground, Glen Waverley
A beautifully crafted neighbourhood playground which is fully fenced with safety gate. There is a playground area with see-saw, swings and structure with wave slide, climbing wall, shop front, rope ladder, steering wheel, steps, monkey rungs and spiders web rope climbing frame.
Beside this area under shady Eucalypt trees is a magical area for young kids which has sensory play experience that is designed to engage children with additional needs. Paths embedded with coloured stones and green glass butterflies lead past garden beds to musical instruments, a shiny tiled bird, seats, ceramic butterfly, curved distorting mirror, table, spinning cup with hand wheel and a beautiful set of wooden seats surrounding a chess table.
There is a water tap and a lovely sculptured gate.
