Amazing Space@Federation Playground, Greenwood Avenue, Ringwood

The Maroondah Council and Melbourne Playgrounds have differing views on this playground. Make up your own mind.

Melbourne Playground's view:
More play space than playground. I came prepared to be wowed but left thinking this should be called Average Space@Federation. Includes an outline of a boat with steering wheel and a speaker which emits various sounds like seagulls screeching and a train when it is touched, wooden statues, distorting mirror, equipment for a one person music band and spinners to stand on which rotate. Deserted on a nice Sunday afternoon which affirms my opinion. Water tap but lacking in shade. Toilets.

Maroondah Council's view:
A unique art based fully accessible sensory playspace that will excite all your senses with beautiful fragrant gardens, sounds of the sea and jungle, hidden gems and puzzles like an accessible maze and giant sand pits.
