Melbourne Climbing School offers outdoor rock climbing instruction courses and guiding to Melbourne's rapidly growing climbing community. Our mission is to create a respectful, responsible, risk aware, and positive climbing community in Victoria, Australia and beyond.
We are all about rock climbing in the outdoors on the amazing, world class rock which just happens to exist right here in Victoria.
We aim to share climbing with everybody, so can help if you are in any of these situations:
- Have never climbed before and want to give it a go
- Are a team or a family looking to try climbing in the outdoors for the first time
- Have already climbed indoors a few times and want to see what the outdoors has to offer
- Have climbed indoors a lot of times and want to find qualified instruction for the outdoors
- Are already climbing outdoors and want to develop your skills further
- Are an expert already and want to find the next step
Melbourne Climbing School offers courses and opportunities to get you into the outdoors safely!
Melbourne Climbing School has courses designed to teach safety skills to all levels, from absolute beginner to advanced rescue skills.
Courses include Top Rope Anchors and Abseiling, Sport Climbing (Indoor to Outdoor) conversion course, Single Pitch Trad Climbing Course, Multi-Pitch Trad Climbing Course, Essential Rescue Skills Course and Advanced Rescue Skills Course.
