McCubbin Drive Playground, Mount Duneed
At the top of the hill is a shelter with two tables, BBQs, water tap and toilets.
Just below is a basketball area with basketball and and netball rings and a half circle with a curved side for skaters. Downhill are two big sandpits - one has a birds nest swing, curved metal slide with rope net ladder to reach the slide, play area for toddlers and digger. The other sandpit has two swings. Beside these areas is a waterplay area with hand pumps, channels in the rock, spray poles and sluice gate. There is also a beautiful music area.
The lower part of the hill has an excellent downhill MTB track which weaves across the slope with a number of obstacles and is suited to capable riders. The playground and MTB track are close together so riders needs to be careful of kids wandering onto the track.
