Maroondah Adult Riding Club (Healesville)
Maroondah Adult Riding Club is a Horse Riding Club Association of Victoria (HRCAV) club based in the Yarra Valley. Our club is a small to moderate sized club comprising approximately 40 members. Our club caters to a wide range of equestrian activities such as instruction, competitions, trail rides, general horse mastership etc. All activities are catered for in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere and each rider can progress at their own rate. Maroondah Adult Riding Club accepts riders 18 years and above.
The club welcomes all types riders, from pleasure riders to the more competitive, across all disciplines, and prides itself on being welcoming and a supportive place for all members.
Rallies
Rallies are on the second Sunday and last Tuesday of each month and are primarily held at our club grounds at the Healesville Sporting Complex in Healesville. Sometimes additional rallies in between are also offered. Most are held at our club grounds in Healesville however winter rallies are sometimes held at indoor schools around the Yarra Valley.
We offer a range of activities, including dressage, horsemanship, core position, quadrille, poles/gridwork and jumping. Cross Country rallies are also offered, usually at Yarra Glen Pony Club Grounds or Wandin Park.
Facilities
We share the facilities at the Healesville Sporting Complex with the Healesville Pony Club, working together to improve and maintain the grounds. On offer are four all weather menages, jump for joy show jumps, two wash bays, yards and the club house.
