At Let's Swim our mission is to educate children and their families about water safety in a safe, fun and goal driven environment.
We have a boutique facility with a maximum of 2 classes at a time, our private pool is heated to 32 degree's, along with qualified swim teachers. At Let's Swim! we have the upmost care for all our customers and students as they go on their learn to swim journey.
If you are frustrated that your child is not receiving the attention and direction you expect, or you feel you are "just another number" at the larger swim schools, Let's Swim! is the place for you. Our small class sizes ensure your child receives the attention and tuition they deserve.

How long does a lesson go for?
Here at Let's Swim! our lessons go for a duration of 30 minutes.
How many children in a class?
Parent and Child classes have a maximum of 6 children, each accompanied by a parent in the pool, with one teacher. Children in a Parent and Child class must be accompanied by a parent/guardian in the pool for the duration of the lesson. Children attending the independent classes are usually over the age of 3 years. These classes have a maximum of 4 children in a class to one teacher.
How long will it take my child to learn to swim?
It is a question that is always asked and is extremely hard to answer.
Swimming lessons should not be seen as an event your child attends. It is more a process of what and how your child learns. This can depend on your child's age, confidence, ability, lesson frequency and much more. Roughly, if your child is over the age of 3 years, it can take up to 6 months to one year for them to be safe in the water.
How much do lessons cost and how do we pay?
Pricing is $20 per lesson. If there is more than 1 child enrolled from the same family there will be a discount. We have two payment options: Pay per 12 week term or Pay per month. All payments will be in advance via direct debit or by credit card with prior arrangement.
Do you offer a trial lesson?
Of course! For your first lesson you just need to pay the upfront cost of $20 to try our swim school. If you are happy after that first lesson, we book you into the schedule and organise the payments from then on.
What happens if we are unable to attend our usual lesson?
Life can get busy and children maybe unwell, so we understand that sometimes your child may not attend a lesson. As long as we are notified of your child's absence at least 1 hour before the class we can reschedule that lesson to another day.
* If a make-up class is booked and you are unable to attend that make-up class, unfortunately we will not reschedule.
*If we are not notified of your child's absence, a make-up class will not be given and that class will be missed.
Can we use make-up lessons instead of paying for lessons?
Unfortunately, make-up lessons cannot be used to extend payment blocks.
Is your pool heated?
Our pool is heated to a constant 32 degrees Celsius to ensure your little ones stay warm during lessons. This is the perfect temperature to allow your child's muscles to relax and for them to not be distracted by cold water, particularly in the cooler months.
Will the water effect my child's skin or eyes?
Here at Let's Swim! our water is magnesium based which mean's it is made up with little chlorine and mainly magnesium salts. Magnesium assists with the relaxation of the muscles, calms anxiety and minimises the chance of your child having a reaction to the water.
How often should my child swim?
Swimming is just like most new activities; the more you do it, the better you will become. For a faster development and retention of skills, swimming twice a week is recommended. If your child is unsettled or new to swimming we would recommend doing two lessons a week to build confidence and water familiarisation. This will provide your little one with retention in mobility, skills and provides consistence to a new activity. The overall importance when learning to swim is consistency!
What sort of qualifications do staff have?
All staff have completed: Swim Australia/Austswim Swimming Teacher Qualification, intensive Let's Swim! training and a minimum of 40 hours of supervision in the pool, a working with children's check and annual training including CPR.
What will my baby learn starting swimming lessons so young?
Beginning swimming lessons at a young age will allow your little one to learn through a fun and relaxed environment. It encourages your little ones to move freely within the water, letting their legs kick and arms splash without hurting themselves. It promotes an early learning approach to water safety and water conditioning and is also a fun and rewarding bonding activity for yourself and your child.
Do lessons take place over the school holidays and Public Holidays?
Let's Swim! offers 12 week terms to maximise your child's learning opportunities. Therefore lessons will run over the school holidays as usual. There will be a short break over the Christmas and New Year period. Let's Swim! will be closed on Public Holidays. If your child's usual lesson takes place on a public holiday you will not be charged for this closure date and no make-up class is needed.
