Leongatha Golf Course

Leongatha Golf Club is a classic Vern Morcom design that has been a hidden treasure in Victoria's South Gippsland region for far too long. It is a scenic layout that covers terrain from hilly to gently rolling with wide santa-ana couch fairways flanked by natural bushland. The greens are also a surprise for a visiting golfer. They are beautifully maintained and feature subtle contouring.

Ranked within the top 120 of all golf courses in Australia and 65th best public access golf course in Australia by Golf Australia magazine. This great golf course is located just 10 minutes from Leongatha and Inverloch and less than 2 hours from Melbourne. Carved out of natural bush environment the wide undulating santa ana fairways are flanked by tall eucalypt trees and the excellent greens have subtle contours. Careful shot selection is required and the driver might remain in your bag on some of the dogleg holes. You might come across some of the wildlife on the course including wallabies, koalas, wombats and an abundance of birdlife. Visitors and groups are welcome to play in our regular competitions.
