The Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club is internationally renowned as "The Spiritual Home of Australian Tennis".
For over a century the Club has been lauded as both a sporting venue of the highest standard and a first class facility for members and guests. The Club consistently focuses on a quality of amenities and level of service that is equal with the world's best, and yet retains its unique characteristics and connections with its revered place in sporting history.
The superb grounds are located in Melbourne's leafy inner city precinct. Comprising 26 beautiful grass courts, 22 fully lit all-weather en-tout-cas courts and 3 Plexicushion courts, the Club offers year-round facilities, which cater to all levels of ability from professional to amateur, pennants and junior players. The Clubhouse features a fully equipped gymnasium, lap pool and spa, Pro Shop, a billiards room, four international-standard squash courts, as well as an outstanding restaurant, bar and bistro and a selection of impressive function rooms.
Members are offered an exciting range of social tennis opportunities, with weekly competitions and annual Club championships.
Professional coaching is also available through the Kooyong International Tennis Academy.

Membership
Membership at Kooyong offers a multitude of rewards, including access to the exemplary facilities and immersion in the history and tradition of one of Australia's great Clubs. The Club offers an unbeatable blend of experience, location and resources to ensure the needs of Members, their families and guests are met both on and off the tennis court.
Applying for Membership should first come through nomination by an existing Member and once approved, applicants will be added to the waitlist. Current waiting periods are up to four years for Restricted Membership, and up to three years for Juniors over 13 years of age.
Coaching And Pro Shop
The Kooyong Pro Shop offers a select range of clothing and equipment for all Club activities. Leading apparel and footwear designs are complemented by a collection of top quality Kooyong-branded clothing.
Professional staff can assist with advice on the most appropriate sporting equipment and offer a unique "try before you buy" racquet programme, and a next-day restringing service. The staff will happily assist in bookings for in-house services such as tennis coaching with the Kooyong International Tennis Academy.
With an acclaimed history of cultivating some of Australia's tennis greats, the Kooyong International Tennis Academy provides coaching, development and guidance for all levels of players. From toddlers taking to the court for the first time, to competitive juniors, adults and elite players looking to refine their skills, the Academy's top-class coaching team will guide Members to take their game to the next level.
