Knox Scout Group (8th) (Ferntree Gully)

8th Knox Scout Group has a Joey scout mob (age range: 5-7), Cub scout pack (age range: 8-10), Scout troop (age range: 11-14) and Venturer unit (age range: 15-17) and Aruma Rover Crew (age range: 18-25).

We are part of the City of Knox District and the Mount Dandenong Region of Scouts Victoria.

The aim of Scouting is to encourage the social, physical, intellectual and spiritual development of young people so they may play a constructive role in society as responsible citizens and as members of their local and international communities.

This aim is achieved through a strong and active program that inspires young people to do their best and to always be prepared.

Our Group is always looking for new members and leaders. Activities include camping, hikes, indoor rock climbing, cooking, construction and life skills as well as other fun outings.

You can try us out for three weeks to see if Scouting is for you! During this period there's no obligation to join. Just make sure you bring one of your parents/guardians with you.
