Knox Bicycle Touring Club (Bayswater)
We ride on Sundays and the mix is approximately 80% on road and 20% bikepaths. We prefer to schedule rides east of Melbourne as most of our members reside in the outer eastern suburbs.
We usually ride between 50km and 80km a day and our average speed is high teens/low twenties. Our rides usually commence at Bayswater but approximately once a month we drive out of Melbourne and ride on quiet country roads. We have family camps on Labour Day, Easter and Queen's Birthday long weekends.
Rides generally commence at Bayswater Park near the Red Steam Engine.
