Kingsville Tennis Club (Footscray West)

Kingsville Tennis Club is a 6 court complex located in the inner west of Melbourne. The club has 2 hardcourts and 4 mod grass courts, all with lights, with a beautiful club house set in the peaceful surrounds of Hansen Reserve.

Since being established in 1951, Kingsville Tennis Club has developed a reputation for being a strong sporting facility, and has been named Tennis Victoria's Metropolitan club of the Year on four separate occasions.

Strong links with the local community and the City of Maribyrnong Council have seen the club flourish and grow its membership base to become a true hub for community engagement through the love of tennis.

Kingsville Tennis Club has always had a strong presence in competition tennis including Western Region Tennis Association (WRTA) and Western Suburbs Night Tennis Group (WSNTG)

Our motto 'Sport for all - regardless of age, level or ability' is demonstrative of our commitment to the game and to community participation.

Membership
Kingsville Tennis Club has a philosophy that tennis should be accessible for all. With this in mind we aim to keep fees as low as possible. Membership entitles you to use of the courts and facilities at any time and also includes Tennis Victoria registration.

Competition
Junior Competition
Juniors play in the Western Region Tennis Association's mixed competition. Summer comp runs from October to March and winter comp runs from April to September. Matches are played on Saturday or Sunday mornings during school term.

Senior Competition
Seniors play in the Western Region Tennis Association's competition on Saturday afternoons during school term. Summer comp runs from October to March and winter comp runs from April to September.

Pennant and mixed formats are available.

Night competition is organised by the Western Suburbs Night Tennis Group. Men's is played on Tuesday night's and ladies on Wednesday nights.

Tuesday Ladies - Kingsville has 1 team playing in the WSLTA Tuesday competition. The competition has 2 seasons per year (Spring and Autumn) with no play during school holidays.

Coaching
Our range of coaching offerings include hotshots, cardio tennis, group and private lessons. Regardless of ability, our head coach Joel Trifunovic from Origin Tennis will find a program for you.
