Keast Park Beach Dog Off Leash Area (Seaford)

Keast Park Beach Dog Off Leash Area (Seaford)

The beach at Keast Park is the only year round dog off leash beach in the Frankston council area.

There is a 200 metre section of sand for dogs to run and play. Dogs can freely roam within the allocated markers on the foreshore from Emergency Marker FCC14 to the water outlet. The area is clearly signposted with information on any restrictions.

There is a basic playground at the park and a walkway through to the beach from the carpark.

The park includes a large car park with ticketed parking from 9:30 am to 8pm. The cost is $3.20 per hour with a maximum payment of $12.80. Frankston Foreshore permit holders are excepted unless otherwise signed.

There are rubbish bins at the reserve.

This Reserve is home to the Keast Park Pavilion which houses the Carrum Bowls Club, toilet facilities and Crackerjack Cafe which offers bay and city views.

Review:

There is paid parking from 9:30 am to 8 pm. The off leash area starts just south of Keast Park. Keep out of the dunes area. Fairly wide beach down to a concrete jetty which is the southern extremity of the off-leash area. There's a water tap with a plastic bowl and bins at Keast Park plus a small playground.
