Ivanhoe Tennis Club is situated right in the heart of Ivanhoe, close to schools, shops and the Ivanhoe train Station.
The club is one of the oldest in Melbourne, having been formed in 1912 as part of the Ivanhoe Recreation Association, which included the neighbouring bowling club. It continues to be operated by group of enthusiastic volunteers.
The club has five courts in two locations. Young Street has three synthetic courts with lights and at nearby Lower Heidelberg Road there are two en tout cas courts without lights.
We welcome individuals and families, and provide professional coaching covering all levels of proficiency. Apart from an active social tennis scene, we also compete with other clubs in the region in official junior and adult divisions.
Coaching
The team at Tennis Works offer an extensive range of coaching programs at Ivanhoe Tennis Club. Tennis Works operates its coaching program in and around Ivanhoe Monday through Friday, with plenty of opportunities for every level of tennis player.
