Hicks Reserve Playground, Axnick Rise, Officer
Wow, there is a huge twisting metal slide coming down the hill plus a short wide slide which kids who get nose bleeds at altitude can use instead.
The playground also has a birds nest swing, cute kangaroo springer and see-saw.
Shelter with two tables, BBQs and water tap. A concrete paths winds up the big hill above the playground and overlooks the huge grassy areas.
This park was named Hicks Reserve to pay tribute to the former owners of this land. From the 1800s Timbertop's land was farmed for dairy, apples and beef by the Hicks family, who were early pioneers in the Officer area.
