Hawthorn Community House is a not-for-profit community based organisation. We are a friendly, vibrant, inclusive community house that provides interesting programs for all residents. We offer affordable and fun classes throughout the year. We make our classes accessible to all members of our community and we try and operate within the means of most people and keep our classes and workshops affordable.

We are a registered NDIS provider and run community based group activities.

We run courses for adults, seniors, students and children and have a wide range of classes and workshops to choose from.

Parkside Pop Ups - Our Parkside Pop Ups run on Tuesday evenings and are a fun and affordable way to try something new. Come on your own or bring along a group of friends. 7pm-8.30pm. $30 per class.

Sunday Series - Do you have an inquisitive mind and a love of learning? We have put together a fun series of Sunday afternoon workshops that enable us to dive into a topic or participate in a broad ranging conversation. $55 per class, unless stated otherwise.

Online Program - During 2020 Hawthorn Community House developed some fabulous online programs. Due to their success, we will be continuing to offer some of our more popular online activities.

We operate across two sites, 32 Henry Street and upstairs at 584 Glenferrie Road.
