Some outdoor gym equipment is located beside the track in various locations . Follow the track northwards along the waterfront. On your right will be mangroves and on your left the large grassy expanse of the reserve.

Keep on the path to the right (along the way there will be a path which heads to the left to a large carpark) until you meet up with the boardwalk on the right hand side. The boardwalk is 400 metres long and takes you further northwards over Kings Creek to Jack Babington Park where there is a playground.

Return via the boardwalk and take the track to the right past a big carpark towards the tennis courts. Just south of the carpark there is a water tap. The track, which is part of the Western Port Bay Trail, will swing around and join the original track taking you back to the jetty. The are a number of options to take alternative routes along the way via network of paths throughout the Hastings Foreshore Reserve.
