Grinter Reserve Dog Off Leash Area (Moolap)
Grinter Reserve is a large district sporting reserve that offers a wide variety of recreation opportunities. The reserve includes a large oval with a turf wicket and an additional hard wicket ground, a number of combination tennis and netball courts, the region's highest standard BMX Track, playground, baseball/softball diamond, skatepark, community garden, toilets and a horse riding club ground.
The reserve is used by Geelong BMX Club, Newcomb & District Cricket Club, Newcomb Power Football Club, Newcomb Power Netball Club and Newcomb Whittington Moolap Riding Club. Splashdown indoor pool is also located within the Grinter Reserve precinct.
Note: Sporting grounds and ovals in the Greater Geelong area can be used for dog off leash activities outside of regular sport or training times.
