Geelong School of Classical Ballet offers a unique and carefully structured curriculum Mastering Classical Ballet. This program provides a system that caters to the progressive needs of each individual student and combines modern research with the true essence of Classical Ballet. The foundations of this curriculum are based on professional development and current studies in the teacher training programme at The Australian Ballet School.
Our approach encourages an in depth understanding of anatomical science and a mastery of the body that allows for authentic artistry to grow and develop. All classes are taught and delivered in a nurturing environment with expert knowledge and professional experience.
Classes We Offer
- Specialised coaching and extension classes for students who may choose to audition and participate in Australian Ballet School ITP and full-time training programme (for students aged 8-15 yrs)
- Mainstream classical ballet classes (open to any student aged 7-15yrs)
- Introduction and foundation classical ballet and early learning classes for (students aged 4-7yrs)
- Our Mastering Classical Ballet curriculum is geared towards (but not limited to) students age 8-15yrs and is complementary to the training system at The Australian Ballet School.
- We also offer an additional introduction and foundation program for students age 4-7yrs.
