Frankston Theatre Group (Frankston)
Frankston Theatre Group is the oldest community theatre group in Victoria having started out as a fund raiser for the Red Cross efforts in 1942, entertaining the locals of the Mornington Peninsula and both Australian and American military personnel during the darkest hours of the Second World War.
Since then, Frankston Theatre Group has come a long way, constantly looking to be the pioneer of Frankston community theatre. In 1996, Frankston Theatre Group staged the Australian premiere of Stephen Jeffery's adaptation of Charles Dickens' HARD TIMES. We look forward to entertaining you, our audience. for the next eighty years and beyond.
