Footscray & District Poultry Club (Bacchus Marsh)
Footscray & District Poultry Club is a not-for-profit, member developed, Club and Pavilion at Bacchus Marsh with country hospitality in a city atmosphere. Our members, through the keeping and breeding pure breeds of poultry are conserving and preserving poultry genetics.
Footscray & District Poultry Club [at Bacchus Marsh] aims to promote the breeding and exhibition of pure bred poultry. We have a core aim of preserving pure bred poultry genetics for the future. We encourage and assist new comers to attain skills in poultry husbandry, poultry health and wellbeing, and selection, breeding and preparation of birds for exhibition. Our club committee and members strive to provide a welcoming friendly environment for like minded people to meet and share their common interest. We are open to all ages and take members from any area.
Monthly meetings are held on the second Sunday of each month at 2.00pm.
Located at Poultry Pavilion, Bacchus Marsh Racecourse & Recreation Reserve, Bacchus Marsh.
