Encore Theatre Company is a progressive community, not-for-profit theatre company who strive to delight, entertain and inspire people of all ages.
Our company is committed to providing high-quality theatre productions to the community at affordable prices. Starting with a family show in January, we stage four productions a year, including comedies, dramas, and thrillers.
Are you interested in being part of the magic of the theatre? We are a friendly volunteer organisation and we are always seeking new members to join in the fun! There are many exciting aspects of the theatre that you can take part in, both on- and off-stage, and we need people just like you!
Would you like to be the face of our company by welcoming and serving patrons at front of house?
Perhaps you can help with set-building - no experience is necessary, and it's a great opportunity to meet new people and chat over lunch!
Maybe you are a secondary or tertiary student looking for opportunities to gain practical experience to add to your CV? We would love to support your skill growth in areas such as sound and lighting operation, stage management, photography, costuming, graphic design, marketing, and anything else you can think of in between!
