East Camberwell Tennis Club (Camberwell)

The East Camberwell Tennis Club has been an actively supported club by the surrounding Camberwell community and members since its initial founding in 1920.

Situated in attractive parklands on Riversdale Road, East Camberwell Tennis Club has eight floodlit courts, six spacious en-tout-cas courts and two mod grass courts, and has a delightful clubhouse with a covered outdoor deck. A free BBQ is available to members, and a playground is located right next door to us in the park.

The Club offers a broad range of social and competition play. Throughout the weekend, the Club offers a full complement of competitions for all levels and age groups.

On Saturday and Sunday mornings, the Club supports a strong junior contingent, with coaching also provided. On Saturday and Sunday afternoons various senior competitive teams play in the Eastern Region Tennis association and Victorian Pennant is played throughout the winter months on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

The Club also fields many teams in the Blackburn Districts night competition Monday through to Thursday evenings.

An extensive coaching program is offered through East Camberwell Tennis Club's professional coach, David Close from Avanti Tennis.
